In the 2005 presidential election, the people of this land gave birth to a mandate to save our motherland. In the spirit of that mandate, we could save our motherland from the grip of LTTE separatist terrorism. His Excellency the President and the patriotic people brought that unprecedented victory to our motherland.
Now the country should jump-start the forward march from this point beyond. Now ours is a country where no longer the flames of war is ablaze. Therefore the economic and political stability could be established in our country. The rapid social and economic development can be achieved. Also, emancipation from the international debt-slavery could be achieved easily. This fact is better known to the international imperialist forces that were behind the separatist tiger terrorism. The USA and other leading vicious forces knew these potentials of our land. They never wish to see that our country regains stability. They wish to see a weakened Sri Lanka shattered into pieces and rent asunder by blood sheds and killing of each other. They never wish that Sri Lanka is united and resplendent in peace and prosperity with political and economic stability. Those international imperialist vicious forces which left no stones unturned to drag our motherland into such abysmal anarchy and peril through the LTTE, are now trying out other means to bring the same fate to our motherland. The dark shadows of those wicked international forces have already cast over our beloved motherland.
The modus operandi of the enemy is to use the enemy to destroy the enemy just as arsenic becomes an antidote to poison. It is also like “ chopping the pig’s flesh on the pig’s back”. So the international imperialist vicious forces are now trying out a similar political operation in Sri Lanka to achieve their lost objectives. It is by setting those patriotic forces that defeated terrorism, against each other and thereby paving the way for self-destruction.
The sudden show of sympathy by Ranil Wickramasinghe and Mangala Samaraweera towards war heroes and army chiefs is a result of that conspiracy. It is as a part of that conspiracy that Mangala Samaraweera sheds crocodile tears for service men today.At the time when the humanitarian operations were forging ahead, all of them did everything possible to stop that forward march. Also every attempt was taken to stop the operations by sneaking to the international bodies. Now those traitors are trying to create dissensions among the forces who successfully contributed towards elimination of terrorism and thereby to satisfy their petty, power-greedy and imperialism- bent political egos. The confused and mad –driven leadership of the present JVP despite its patriotic history are abating today the conspiracies and operations hatched by the imperialism –bent traitors.
We shall not allow yielding that conspiracy. If it becomes successful, the country will be dragged to backward again. It will move towards the direction of satisfying imperialists. The country will be taken again towards the direction of separatism and terrorism. If you fall pray to this pretentious campaign against corruption and conspiracy that are bogusly covered by patriotic robes, the great victories that our nation has achieved would be definitely lost to the nation.
Hence we shall rise as a one single nation. We shall determine to crush and abort before birth this conspiracy covered by fake patriotism that is being hatched by the western imperialists through their puppet – agents. We shall work unstoppable and indefatigably towards that end. The incumbent government has various weaknesses. Therefore, what we strive to do is to give a mandate at the forthcoming presidential and general elections to rectify those weaknesses and to rebuild the nation.
As we gave birth to the country –saving- mandate in the 2005 presidential election, we shall beget the mandate in 2010 to rebuild the nation. As we gave leadership to the march that saved our motherland, we shall lead and direct the nation building march as well. WE have confidence and iron will- power for that purpose. We should not be foolish to cut the nose even if we do not like the face. The weakness of the present government should not be a cause to surrender the country to the conspiracies of the western imperialists. If we are patriotic who truly love our motherland, we cannot come to any compromise in defeating that conspiracy.
We must not hesitate to defeat this enemy political operations initiated by the western imperialists through the tripartite fraudulent alliance of Ranil, Mangala and Tylwin. We must defeat it in the name of our motherland.
